Frequently Asked Questions

What space do we need to provide?

A common area, amenity room, or clubhouse works great. Requirements: power outlet, access to water (nearby restroom is fine), adequate lighting. Most apartment amenity rooms already have everything needed.

How much does it cost the property?

Nothing out of pocket. Residents pay for their own haircuts through Nearest Cutz. On cuts booked on-site at your property, the split is 75% to the barber, 10% to your property, and 15% to the platform — so the amenity pays you rather than costing you.

How are barbers vetted?

Barbers verify their Texas barber license before they can take bookings, and every profile is public with its own reviews. We can walk you through our current vetting steps on a call — the platform is in public beta and we would rather tell you exactly what we check than overstate it.

What if residents have complaints?

Our platform handles all feedback. Residents rate and review each visit. If there's an issue, our team resolves it — your staff doesn't need to be involved.

How do residents book?

Through the Nearest Cutz website or app. They browse the barber's profile, pick a time slot on the designated day, and book in under 60 seconds.

Can we cancel or change the schedule?

Yes. Schedules are flexible. You can adjust frequency, change days, or pause service anytime with reasonable notice.

Ready to Add On-Site Barber Services?

The application takes about 5 minutes. An amenity that gets used, not just listed.
